Candy Kingdom Defense Tier List

Checked

Early creator consensus: Alien Jake for wave control, Marceline Beast for single-target skill burst, Jake Lich for full-area coverage. These are pre-update impressions, not measured DPS rankings.

What this ranking is based on

The tiers below combine three things:

  1. Creator footage recorded before 23 October 2026.
  2. Captured unit values, which were taken at different levels and unknown trait states.
  3. Placement caps, which change how a unit fits a six-slot team.

They are not based on a controlled DPS test. There is no shared level, no shared trait and no shared wave. A unit with Oh My Glob can look twice as strong as the same unit without it.

Wave clear tiers

Tier Units Why
S Alien Jake, Jake Lich Full-area coverage and grouping; both change how a lane behaves
A Princess Bubblegum, King BMO, Lemongrab Reliable area or extra bodies; slower or capped
B Marceline, Finn, Lady Rainicorn Usable, but not the first answer to a wave problem
C Billy Two creators rated it weak; do not invest before a current test

Boss burst tiers

Tier Units Why
S Marceline Beast 40,000 single hit; designed for one high-HP target
A King BMO, Magic Man High damage, but multi-hit or slow setup
B Alien Jake, The Lich Area tools that can hit a boss, not specialists
C Billy No documented boss use

Control and support

  • Alien Jake: pulls enemies together, which makes every area unit better.
  • Jake Lich: full-area stun and damage; one placement.
  • Lemongrab: summons bodies and stuns; setup is slower.
  • King BMO: summons allies and chases targets; two placements.

Six-slot team template

Slot Job Example
1 Wave clear Alien Jake
2 Boss burst Marceline Beast
3 Control Jake Lich or Lemongrab
4 Flexible damage Princess Bubblegum or King BMO
5 Flexible damage Lemongrab or Magic Man
6 Early / filler Finn or base Jake

If a unit has a one-placement cap, it fills its slot and cannot be stacked. If it has a two-placement cap, it can replace the flexible slot only when the map has room for both.

Why there is no measured DPS list

A measured list would need the same level, the same trait, the same upgrade stage and the same wave. The available footage does not meet that bar. Publishing a single number per unit would look precise and be wrong.

What to do next

Pick the role your team is missing, open the unit page to check the placement cap, then open the evolution guide for the recipe. If a unit is only strong in a creator's pre-update video, wait for a current test before spending materials.
